1. Scope and Provider

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for the Marotopia Masterclass via our website or payment links.

By completing a booking, participants accept these Terms and Conditions, which form part of the contract. The Terms must be actively accepted during the payment process (e.g., by ticking a checkbox before payment).

2. Subject of the Contract

The contract covers participation in the Marotopia Masterclass with Marc Romboy & Robert Babicz, taking place February 16–19, 2026 at Battlestar Studio, Malta.

The program includes four days of six teaching hours each (11:00–18:00 Malta local time, including breaks) in a small group setting.

Complimentary coffee, tea, water, soft drinks and light snacks (fruit, chocolate bars, biscuits) are provided.

Travel and accommodation are not included.

3. Booking and Contract Formation

Bookings are made via payment link (Mollie, PayPal or bank transfer).

The contract is concluded once full payment has been received and confirmed by the organizer.

Places are limited; participation is only guaranteed after payment has been received.

4. Prices and Payment

•Prices for participants residing in Germany include VAT.

•For participants residing outside Germany, the gross price equals the net price (no additional tax).

•Payment is due immediately upon booking.

Participants must actively accept these Terms and Conditions during the payment process.

5. No Statutory Right of Withdrawal

According to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB (German Civil Code), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for leisure activities with a fixed date.

The following cancellation and refund policy applies instead.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

•Full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the cancellation is made at least 30 days before the start of the Masterclass.

•No refunds within 30 days of the Masterclass. However, you may transfer your spot to another participant, subject to our approval.

•If the organizer has to cancel or reschedule the event, participants can choose between a full refund or a free transfer to the new dates.

7. Program Changes and Force Majeure

The organizer reserves the right to make minor changes to the program, such as schedule adjustments or replacement of coaches due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.

The organizer is not liable for non-performance due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, flight cancellations, pandemics).

8. Participant Obligations

Participants agree to:

•Be punctual and behave respectfully towards coaches and fellow participants.

•Have basic working knowledge of a DAW (e.g., Ableton Live, Bitwig, Logic Pro, Cubase) to actively follow and apply the content.

•Bring their laptop, headphones and their own projects.

•Take photos or videos inside the studio or house only with prior approval from the coaches.

•Geotagging in social media posts is strictly prohibited.

•No alcohol or drug use is permitted during the event.

In cases of serious misconduct, the organizer reserves the right to exclude participants without refund.

9. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

•All unreleased works, productions and ideas shared during the Masterclass are confidential.

•Sharing, publishing or recording content without explicit permission is prohibited.

•Participants retain full rights to their own works.

10. Liability

Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

The organizer is liable only for intent and gross negligence.

No liability is accepted for the loss or damage of personal belongings, travel, or accommodation costs.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies to all contractual claims arising from the booking and participation in the Masterclass.

The place of jurisdiction is Mönchengladbach, Germany.

For incidents occurring on site in Malta (e.g., accidents, offences), Maltese law applies.

Should any provision of these Terms be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
